The staff is friendly and quick to get you in. Dr Saunders is always very friendly and doesn't seem bothered to answer all my questions. I asked about the dosages about a few medications and she just rattled them right off ... Very impressive. She noticed a few medical issues I didn't go in to actually discuss and questioned me about them ... Very astute and showed true concern for my care. I'm very happy with her compassionate beside manner, empathy, warmth and reassuring professionalism.
After a very disappointing experience with my previous pcp I decided to give Health Texas a try since Jack Riccardi of KTSA endorses the practice. I had my first visit yesterday and found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, professional, and efficient. My visit with my new pcp, Ricardo Arevalo, MD, was quite productive. Everyone here is great! The ladies at the front desk are friendly and quite helpful, Miss Millette performed a blood draw very skillfully (almost didn't even feel it plus I hate needles) and Dr Stacey Saunders is nothing less than a miracle worker as far as I'm concerned. I'm actually disappointed that I don't get to come back next month. I feel as though I have a really good guardian angel to have led me here. I haven't felt this good in years, and I am truly grateful for their attention.
Millette is the nurse with Dr Arevelo and did a very awesome job drawing my blood. She drawed my blood with only one stick and it was very quick. I'm a very happy patient with Dr Arevelo and his staff
After a rough experience with my last PCP, my wife encouraged me to see her provider - Dr. Saunders and I am so glad she did. I’ve felt judged by doctors in the past, which made it hard to be honest. With her, that’s not the case. She listens, remembers what I tell her, and talks things through with me. Because of that, I’m straightforward about my medical needs and they actually get addressed.
