I moved to san antonio a year ago and was recommended HT by a friend. I was surprised how quickly I was able to get registered and see a Dr! I have had nothing but a good experience ever since. The staff is always friendly and my Dr is very knowledgeable. They have locations all over the city which is a reason i recommend them to anyone who needs a doctor. Samantha at Stone Oak is a rockstar! Always quick and friendly when she draws my blood
Office Staff at Health Texas in San antonio is the very best! They are so professional and friendly and make my appointment with Dr. Nguyen so smooth. Always accommodating for when I need to come in or when I need a prescription filled. Dr. Nguyen is very comforting and professional as well. She made me feel confident I was getting the best care! I highly recommend this practice, 5 stars 🌟
It’s really hit or miss with this office staff in the front. Not sure when their policy changed about end of day appointments. I’ve had several at 4:20 and have never experienced what happened today. If you make a 4:40 like I did today you’ll actually have a 5PM appt. and you’ll be double booked or triple booked like I was. I got there at 4:25 like a good patient and at 5:05 I asked if I should reschedule. Since they were obviously not going to see me anytime close to my actual appointment. I have been a patient of Dr Powell at Health Texas for a year now. I have no complaints about Dr Powell or his staff. Dr Powell is caring and listens to me without filling rushed. The office staff and others in the office are very helpful and kind. PA Nguyen is also great.
I have just started going to Dr Powell at the recommendation of my pulmonologist and I love him. I’m 83 and he doesn’t rush me or make me feel unheard. He personally called me at 7am on a Saturday morning to tell me he was changing some of my meds based on labs. No Dr has ever done that. I have to maneuver 1604 to get to him but worth the effort. He is a really good doctor and I’m delighted with his care.
