I brought my uncle to buy his hearing aids a couple of years ago and was surprised by their closure. However, we've been happy with their service ever since the reopening. Price is a bit higher than Costco's, but the after purchase service is worth it. I'm bringing in my grandmother and mother for their hearing aids as well.
I cannot say enough good things about Hear Canada (1917 Baseline Rd branch) and Bradley D'Alessandro and his team. My mom has been struggling with very poor hearing for quite some time, and it was impacting her quality of life in a significant way. Excellent service! Staff is really helpful and really ready to listen. I work as Health Navigator for Newcomers to Canada who might not know how to navigate the healthcare system. Carrie the receptionist was so pleasant and ready to help. Dr. Melanie Baur was so patient and ready to support client finding resources for coverage for their specific device needs. She is also culturally sensitive and appropriate. My client had amazing experience. I would highly recommend this clinic and this provider.
The only good thing about going here was obtaining a refund and taking business elsewhere!! In our experience, it's not a place to go alone, especially for seniors. Different types of hearing aids were not shown, explained,or tried on to see how they felt and looked, just one. A hearing test was done, and "mid-range", $5000 hearing aids were suggested. We were brand new to this location and I brought my son in to have earmold impressions done. After his impressions were taken, the audiologist requested I book a follow up appointment in 2 weeks time to come and have his new earmolds fitted and finalized. The assistant booked our appointment, but when we showed up two weeks later, she was confused. We were given an appointment date and time, but the appointment did not get booked.
