They advertise that they have onsite staff which is a lie. If they did then they would know that there are homeless people living in their units. Which has now caused issues for the businesses that are around them. It is a very dangerous and unsafe environment for those around these storage units. No one answers the phone when you call the number. Nor do they return phone calls. Since this company took over, it's been a non stop nightmare. No one EVER answers the phone. I paid my rent in full, on time, and then received a notice that rent was late. After about 30 attempts, I finally got someone to pick up, explained the situation, and was assured that it would get resolved. Got to the shop today, and I'm locked out of my unit. Do yourself a favor, do NOT rent from GoStoreit. Customer service is non-existent.
The storage unit facility has reasonable sized units but the overall customer service is worse than terrible. I normally just let poor customer service go without response but the company that owns or manages this site does not respond to calls. I have waited more than 25 minutes at several times before giving up or when I do finally talk to someone they promise to do a follow up call and it never happens. My family currently has a unit at Heartland Storage in Lake Geneva, WI. Your site in LG is extremely unprofessional. Not only does no one answer the phone, the office hours are unreachable, and we are now unable to email the local office. The worst part is that our monthly unit rate went up $92, in two months with no prior knowledge. To which, we previously received notice via letters - when the monthly rate increased.
