I had a unit at Heartland Storage for two years and I have been displeased with the service. I had several birds nest in my unit and water damage that were never addressed properly, received the run around with maintenance and a very dismissive attitude from the onsite manager. I moved my items to a closer rental facility and will never utilize your facility again and dissuade any others from doing so as well. I wish there was an option for zero stars because that is a truer sentiment on the service.
Heartland Storage facility is the best storage facility I have ever used. Fortunately they are only a few blocks from where I live. The lady in the office was always so very nice and helpful. They even put a lock on my unit until I could get a lock and get over there. Free of charge. Excellent place for your storage needs.
I paid to park my car at this facility for years - they had my credit card so they got paid on time every month. With no warning, they gave me 30 days to remove my car and they had it towed at an expense of $650!!!!!!!!! i begged them to give ma few more days and they did not care at all.

Rented the 10 X 10 unit, it was some of the newer units they had available. It was close to my home and right off highway 30. They had one of the better monthly rates available in the NWI/Chicago Suburbs area and were very accommodating, would rent with them again in the future.
