We used Heartland Storage for two years. It was very convenient being about one half mile from my house. The unit was very clean and we always felt our belongings were safe. Access to the property was always easy. Im not exactly sure of the size but I know it wasn't a large one. Maybe 10x10. We got a fairly good rate in the beginning, around $60/mo. This complex was recently taken over by a company called Go Store It. When the change occurred, they stated there would be no rate increases. Despite that, I received a notification today that in 30 days my monthly bill will rise from $111 to $162 — a 32% increase. On top of that, during the transition I was required to call and update my automatic payments, which meant waiting on hold for over two hours before I could speak with someone.
It was quick and easy to rent via the web move in was instant with pmt so so easy I will recommend heartland storage to ev1 I know!!
Same as some of the other people in here went from $58 a month in 3 months then jumped to $87 a month no notice. Do not recommend this place
Awesome experience! Will definitely use them again. Recommend them to anyone who's looking for a storage unit
