Made an appointment for my hearing loss with Hugo at HearUSA. Met Hugo Cordon to get started. He was very friendly and focused on my issue and listened to me carefully. After looking into my exam results, he recommended a device, he then programmed it and helped me to install an app on my iPhone to make adjustments. It only took a little more than 30 minutes. The best part was the fact that is was 100% covered under my insurance! Totally happy.,.
I have weird ear canals. I announced that at the beginning. My previous hearing aids had to have molds. I was sent to an external office in Pasadena,. I was in pain and struggling and mentally exhausted and confused on the first day. The attendant Hugo apparently thought that made me defiant or something because he treated me with a disdainful attitude from that day forward. Hugo and his office staff were excellent in my most recent visit to Hear USA in Pasadena. I lost one hearing aide in the confusion of the Eaton fire which destroyed our home and all contents. They ordered a replacement immediately and when it didn’t arrive as scheduled they sought expedited delivery. Then after programming and cleaning the aids Hugo cleaned up my phone app to eliminate unnecessary items and ensure ease of use. Finally, they didn’t charge me for the service or the new aid. One of my HearUSA hearing aids developed a faulty wire after three and a half years of use. I made an appointment with the store and was seen the following day. My expectation was that the aid would be in repair for maybe a week. The receptionist who greeted me listened to my problem gladly took the aid, and within a few minutes returned from the backroom.
