Bought my hearing aid in 2022. It kept breaking down at regular intervals. Luckily I had 3 years warranty. All hell broke loose when the warranty expired. The aid for one side stopped working. We bought the hearing aid just for that side and they kept delaying it. Got a call weeks after we paid and they said some form is missing that they need to submit to the manufacturer. Most of the time I had a great experience. I participated in the testing and fitting for hearing aids which went very well. They were not able to receive electronic payments which made it very difficult to receive insurance payments. The only hard time I had was when they did not want to wait for the insurance payment, so I had to pay up front and get the reimbursement sent to myself. Hear USA is a great company but I may need to find a different local office, because the finance piece put a hardship on me.
I am new to hearing aids so for my first appointment I came in with no expectations. From the start I have had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Philip took the time to give me very useful information and guidance. ThIs last visit was a follow up appointment and he listened to my questions, made adjustments and gave me some hands on experience with the maintenance of my hearing aids. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The audiologist is a very accomplished professional who kept the hearing test moving and informative.
The physician continues to be friendly (good). However, there are definite system issues: 1) the product that was supposed to be ordered weeks ago, wasn't and now I have to wait even longer for a standard ear piece and 2) even though the physician stated that he would call me when the item was in, the front desk persons called and insisted on making an appointment even though the hearing piece might be in weeks prior or not at all - showing a disconnection between the clinical and the front desk staff.
