Dr. Romero has been my PCP for about 1.5 years and I think she is an amazing doctor. Dr. Romero has done so much for me in monitoring my health, helping recommend and referring a specialist for a medical condition, and continuing to review my prescriptions and implemented a care plan. Honestly, my previous experience with other PCP's has been poor to forgettable at best but I know Dr. Romero cares as she takes the time to listen and provides great insight into issues that I may have otherwise dismissed. Heather has always been professional and compassionate. My husband and I both visit her. It's convenient to use the health portal to leave her notes. I've had bad doctors in the past so it's great to find a general practitioner in Grand Rapids that I can trust and that puts me at ease.

I cannot imagine the stress covid has placed on the medical field. However, I do not feel that stress is an excuse to push off and dismiss patients and their health care needs. After years with Dr. Romero and the Northwest office, I switched offices. After having 4 episodes in which my BP is dropping as low as 93/45, the doctor has shown zero interest in my health and getting me answers. Lost all confidence after a few visits . I feel she wanted to docter me on her beliefs of what she would choose for herself . Every single person is different and so are their health needs . I havent been back to Dr . for months because now I have to look for another . So ive been paying for health insurance Ive not been using because of this . Dr's dont listen , they herd you in , get you out . On to the next .
