I just want to say how awesome Jamie is. She went the extra mile in helping me to meet my storage needs. She even made sure I got units that are right across from one another. This has made my move sooooo much less stressful. She is such a pleasant and fun manager. That is a rare gem to find nowdays.

This is a great place to rent a storage unit. The only issue I had and hope it gets corrected, is there needs to be someone in the office during business hours at the San Mateo location in Albuquerque, NM. I had reserved a unit for a particular day and when I got there no one was in the office. I came back a second time before lunch and still no one in the office. Very helpful staff. They changed my gate code when needed after movers left. I feel this place is safe for myself and my property. Very clean and well maintained.
I recently relocated to Texas and had to rent a storage place for 60 days. Very short term. A colleague recommended American Self Storage and told me the young couple there was amazing and very nice and professional. He was right! Amanda and Alex were very easy to work with. I also used them to rent a Penske Truck for my move when the time came.
