At first, I loved this place. But the past few months, things have gone majorly downhill. I have been without hot water or any water pressure in my shower for almost 2 weeks due to a second flood that has happened in the last 5 months. There has been no communication from management regarding the water issue and it seems there is also no motivation to get it fixed in a timely manner. Holding fee warning!!!! So the holding fee is $300 plus $50 application fee. I was really in debate between this apartment and another one I wasn’t sure I was going to get. The apartment manager Sara Andrea assured me if I went with a different apartment the $300 fee would be deposited back. TLDR did not have a good experience and would advise a friend not to rent here. 1) Maintenance incredibly slow - my washing machine was broken for three months and I did not receive a rent reduction for the non-working appliance. 2) Water damage/mold - my entire wing had tons of plumbing issues, constant work going on, concerns about mold in the building. 3) Out of control pets - people let their dogs run wild and management doesn't care. 4) Payment - they don't allow cash or checks and their online payment system requir... read more
I can attest to a phenomenal living experience at the Henry. Grounds and building are well-maintained with Gardening & Cleaning teams coming through regularly. Apartment appliances and finishes are good quality, and the few maintenance requests I needed to submit were responded to within 24 hours. Even the smaller units feel large due to the taller-than-average ceilings and windows. The friendly and helpful staff (shoutout to David!) make the Henry a wonderful place to live!
My partner and I lived here for a year and loved it. We left because we were moving out of state. Among all of the new construction buildings in Seattle, (and we saw plenty of buildings before this one), Henry immediately stood out with it's design choices. Both the exterior and interior are tastefully minimal and modern. I was so thrilled to learn there was no carpet in the unit I was looking at.
