My mother has been here for about a year and a half now. She is well taken care of. This place serves the residence 3 meals a day. The food is cooked fresh for each meal, and sometimes they do have soup and sandwich. The employees are really good working with the residence that live here. There is plenty of parking here, the parking lot is clean, the landscaping looks great. The lawn is cut, the bushes trimmed, overall, the landscaping is well manicured. I’ve seen and heard multiple nurses and some of the CNAs treat them with the upmost disrespect and do no care about there well being, I would not recommend to have your family come here to be taken care of even though some workers like Ms.Zeznanski are out substantially amazing.
My grandmother got the best care here. Every time I would visit (which was OFTEN), she would tell me how good they were to her, how much she liked it and how they took her down to exercise every weekday. I was so concerned that moving from a big house into full nursing care, she would be unhappy, but she flourished there and was pleased with her new home and the people who cared for her. Wonderful place. My dad is well taken care of. They seem to be genuine people that care. They celebrate all the holidays inviting families to come and eat and spend time with their loved ones. Very thankful for their good service.
I have to say that I have always been skeptical of rehab and nursing facilities and scared to death to have to place one of my patients in one because all of my childhood my mother worked in several different ones and I never ever like going to them because to me they were never clean. Unfortunately my father had a stroke and eventually he needed more help then I could offer him and I had to place him in a nursing facility.
