Apartment quality and maintenance is good. Main problem is with advertising - they put up corporate advertising on fliers in the elevators some weeks, and there's a bright entry way TV with rotating ads. Nothing like walking back home, tired, late at night and being greeted by an full led screen comcast ad. Home sweet home.
Apartment is very nice. Maintenance team is excellent and is very responsive to requests. However, the front desk (leasing office) has demonstrated inefficiency in addressing problem for the residents Bike was stolen in the garage, and I tried to reach out to the leasing office. However, the leasing office is empty for TWO straight days and there was no one that I could talk to. We moved in to our apartment in March this year and have been in love with the Heron community since then. The staff are always helpful and easy to talk with, the building is kept so clean and well maintained, anything we put a work order in for gets taken care of within about a day's time, and the apartment itself is amazing! We weren't even really looking to move when we did, but after touring and seeing that it ticked all the boxes on our must have lists, we were sold. Please note: reviews written here from 2-3 years ago highlight the Heron when it was taken care of by Insight Management. It is now managed by Thrive Properties and to say the least it is far from thriving. It’s been sad to see the building go down hill and to be so poorly taken care of. Hallways smell like garbage, no weekly cleaners and the amenities are not kept up to date/usable. ie: patio fire pit is broken, gym hasn’t been cleaned in a year and the “meeting room” furniture was changed into an awkward layout not ideal... read more
We are very picky about where we choose to live and rarely does it live up to our expectations. Our experience at The Heron has been outstanding, a credit to the team that runs and maintains the property. Brian and Lourdes keep the place in tip-top shape and are super responsive and helpful to all of us that live here.
