Super easy checkin experience with a complimentary upgrade which was a great bonus! The car was a newer hybrid that saved us a bunch on fuel which allowed us to not worry about trips being overly expensive. Just note when booking due to the location there is quite a big location tax which was almost half the booking price based on it being at the airport. Apart from that returning took less than a minute and the complimentary airport transfers were fast and efficient. Highly recommend!
Very bad experience completely on Hertz. 1. misquoted. My reservation email stated a fee of 83.64 for damage waiver + 12.04 tax due at time of rental in addition to my reservation (total 95.64). Hertz did not disclose hidden fees and at time of rental I was charged 189.98. That's almost double! AVOID hertz for this. Not too bad. People are generally friendly and informative. I only wish the car classes and instructions were clearer for international travelers. While classes are confusing, the location is far from the terminals.
Hertz is fine, but not great for business travellers or travellers with short time frames As you need to get collected by a bus and then taken out to a compound near long term parking where they keep the cars. You are better off booking with Avis or budget that keep their cars close to the terminal
Good experience getting the car, but the vehicle I rented was kinda dirt inside but more importantly had an alignment / wheel balance issue and badly vibrated about 100kmh. Roadside assistance was of no help and the location did not pick up when I called. So just had to deal for the weekend. Very frustrating and frankly unsafe
