Absolute joke of a company, I called and booked in a rental car 3 months in advance. When on the phone I told them my age as im 20 years old (and am aware some companies don't borrow to under 21) I even confirmed this by giving and confirming my date of birth with them, they said this was fine and it would just cost a bit extra to which I agreed. TERRIBLE AND UNFORGIVABLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We had made a reservation for a Ford Mustang for our Melbourne trip, weeks in advance through dollar car rentals managed by Hertz to pick up from Melbourne airport. HERTZ Melbourne is one of the best places to pick up a car. The staff are amazing. We had a Wonderful NZ lady look after us and she was friendly, helpful and funny. She made sure we got what we ordered and was brilliant. Thank you

Got sent here because Thrifty is non existent. Car had many scratches with 25K on the clock. Due to airport construction entrances have changed. They never bothered informing upon pick up where return entrance is despite me requesting a map. You will do your head in if not familiar with facility. People jumping queue at the register because clerks don't bother saying " who's next". 2 stars is too much...

Outstanding Service at Hertz Melbourne Airport – Highly Recommended! I recently rented two Kia Carnivals for 9 days from Hertz Melbourne Airport, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. Despite being a last-minute booking at the counter during the busy school holiday season (when car availability was limited), the staff went above and beyond to help us out.
