I have never been charged for car cleaning fees with rental vehicles. Perth airport rental claim damages for vacuum cleaning the dust and sands in the vehicle with $160 fee. Be careful with this location!!!!!

Big thank you to Tyler for phenomenal, easy and extra mile customer service. Please give this kiwi a pay rise! We had some booking troubles and he did not make us feel like a burden at all!! 5 stars from us. We come to Perth every year and normally book through a different service who were booked out this year, I was a little nervous coming to Hertz but I think Tyler has won Hertz my loyalty!!! Thanks Tyler!

I booked a Audi Q7 - a 7 seater, 2 weeks before the rental starts, I spoke to a rep from the same Hertz Perth Airport office to confirm my rental. 3 days before my rental starts, I had a confirmation of my car. However, when I arrived, I was told, I will be given a smaller car - Audi SQ5, We are travelling as a family (including small children), therefore, I need the car space. Downgrading us from a 7-seater to a 5-seater is not a good experience Especially after 2 confirmations! Rental starts from end Sep-2025

2025 June. Not happy. Was charged for refuelling and location. I refueled vehicle and supplied receipt. The lady also confirmed there was no problem with return location. I had all the time to drive it to a different location if required. Now found out they charged me for fuel and location. Why lie and deceive people with fake smiles? I'm following up with emails for more than a week still no resolution. * 2025 Dec. Edit : followed up after I returned from overseas and resolved the issue.
