I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I had my Grandfather here to rehabilitate after surgery. He was at Hickory Creek for two months. I would have to say that getting him in here was a breeze with the nice lady that does admissions and the Director Tega. I really appreciate all the help they gave and how easy they made the transition. The nursing staff was great to him, and physical therapy had him up and going with in a couple of weeks. I am a friend or relative of a resident My husband had broken his hip, so I had to find a place for him fast. I had put him in one place, which was a good place, but it was really rather expensive, so I had to get something that was a little cheaper and still had a good rating. And caring.com gave me Hickory Creek; I went over and checked it out, and I thought, "Well, it is small, it's OK, the price was definitely right, and it still has a good rating." I visited this facility Hickory Creek was a decent facility for the most part. The staff were very kind. However, to exit the building, you had to punch in a code on a keypad. The code was changed every day. When I would go to leave, there was never anyone at the front desk, therefore I could not get out of the building until I searched around and found someone or another visitor was kind enough to let me know the exit code for the day.
