They almost doubled my rate with no warning. They stopped my automatic draft when that happened and then locked out my unit and did not contact me until I contacted them two months later to find out why my payments stopped. I was then informed I had to pay the new rate for the previous months before I was allowed access to my unit. I informed them I was closing it out, so they refused to open my unit so I could clear it out before the 7 days before the end of the month. The previous owners were great! I don’t recommend this facility now!! I used to pay 90 a month. The new owners started charging me 130 a month. And if you fall, a half month behind even if you pay a little they still auction off your stuff. And when you try moving out, they will not prorate for the month. If you don’t give it notice before the first of the month they charge you for the next month even though you’re going to be out on the third they’ll charge you the full month I just really highly recommend you don’t go thro... read more
This company is horrible. I moved out of my unit in March, let them know in plenty of time and was charged for April. When I tried to correct the situation, someone in the call center said to not worry, a "manager" would correct the situation and call me. That never happened. After repeating this process twice I was finally forced to go through my credit. card company. A request for a review is the only correspondence I every received.
This place was great when Hill and Homes ran it. Now the new managers have done a poor job and jacked up the prices. I have since moved out due to the lack of care and communication. The last week I was there, the gate was not working and was left open and I could not get a response from Storage Pro Management about fixing it. The units are still very nice and new and that’s about the only positive thing to say.
We had the unit for a month with an expensive disc lock. Using it daily to store some equipment. Our unit was broken into and everything stolen (~$10,000) during the day! We paid extra for their insurance and for the security of having cameras on site. After filing a police report and talking to the manager, the claims department denied our claim saying we didn't have proof of the break in because the cameras all of a sudden didn't work, and the lock wasn't there.
