Update: not only does the ice machine not produce nugget ice, it consistently leaks. We have tried to communicate with Jimmy and Hill Country Appliance team for weeks to get a refund or get a new machine. He has ignored us consistently. We are really disappointed. Do not purchase from Hill Country Appliance. I purchased an ice machine from Hill Country Appliance because it was advertised as producing nugget ice. Was referred over to Hill country Appliance by some clients of mine that just purchased a home and was more than satisfied! They gave prompt service showed up when they were going to Deliver and Install at the exact time I , had slight issue with needing to swap out a cord the technician Marco came back out to swap it at no charge. They have a very extensive inventory and two locations. I would check them out!
We were sold a GE ice maker and upon delivery it was a broken Whirlpool. We contacted the owners and were informed the mixup would be rectified in 3 weeks. It has been 2 months now and they've stopped responding. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend doing business with these people. They took our money and our trust.
