Took my 3 month old Golden Retriever for a check up. Very thorough exam and I was provided very good growth and care information. Even received a follow-up text summarizing my visit!
I came to Hillcrest when my dog's surgery at another vet became infected and needed attention. Due to my vet being out of town, the vets at Hillcrest had to redo the surgery. She was in bad shape. I was so impressed at their care for my dog, that I decided to change vets. I have another small dog that had been diagnosed with a tumor growing in her liver which was inoperable. I love this animal hospital. My potbelly pig hates having her hooves trimmed but Dr. Mason is great with her.
My bluetick hound was shot by a dove hunter, they saw him immediately!!!! Even though my dog was in a lot of pain and tried to bite, they still gave him the treatment he needed. They were a little pricey, but what can you expect for emergency situations?
As some know, my wife and I Theresa lost our son Romeo “Ro Ro” on Saturday September 7, 2019 after 9.5 years in our life. He meant so much to us and will forever be in our hearts!! Shortly after his death, we received a hand written sympathy card with the Rainbow Bridge in it from his treating Vet Dr. Kathryn Bell and her team. She was by his side for so long in helping treat his horrible disease and she helped him have more time with his family. He was so comfortable with her in the office and she always put him at ease.
