We experienced a complete lack of compassion and empathy during the end of our dog’s life from this facility. We ended up taking her to Hicks Animal Hospital and received unbelievable care from a vet who had never seen our baby before. I would choose Hicks if you’re wanting reasonable prices, emergency care and compassion.
I was hung up on 3 separate times today. After calling back and asking to speak with a manager the woman continued to be rude and refused to let me speak with the office manager. I wouldn’t recommend this vet if you’re looking for good customer service. The doctors are great but the staff at the front counter is awful. After reaching darlean someone new she was trying to help when the call was disconnected and then we received a call back from the original receptionist we spoke with and she was very hateful. When we went to pick up our puppy after surgery we were told we were too late because they shut down their computers 5 minutes before 5. Wouldn’t give us our dog because they couldn’t process payment. So they’re going to charge us for boarding because they shut down early?! Last dime they’ll get from us.
My mom took a dog that had been hit by a car and had to sit outside in the car with him for almost 2 hours before he was seen!
We had an emergency with our dog. We think he was having a seizure and when we called to see if we could bring him in, the girl that answered the phone said they did not have time to see him!!! This is unacceptable. My conclusion is that Hillcrest does not really care about their patients. 😡 never going back.
Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience. Long story short, I was charged way more than I was told I would be. I suggest you find a place with integrity and not one who is dishonest. I hate to write this negative comment but feel the public should know.
My daughter took her kittens to have them nutured and spayed. They sent them home without cones. They had vouchers to help with the cost. Procedures were done on the 13th. Yesterday the male kitten began bleeding and was taken back to them. They said the procedure wasn't done properly and there was still scrotum that needed to be removed. My daughter had to pay $85 for the hospital to keep him to redo the procedure. This was the hospitals responsibility because it was their mistake. We brought all of our cats in there to get shaved and they had to be knocked out we brought two one day and two another day. When we went and got the first two they come home they was fine and then one of them just started going downhill pretty soon but 4 days later she was having a hard time breathing so we called back and we asked to get her in that it was an emergency they told us they couldn't get her in till the next morning because they had an emergency this is about 12:30 that day there's so many people that work ther... read more
