It was good for temporary. Good care. Qualified staff. My dad was used to something more modern and didn't get a private room.

I feel very safe working here. EmpRes has done an outstanding job of protecting their staff and residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. They provided us with N95 masks and strict screening protocol from the beginning, and have acquired UV-C lights to sanitize our circulating air and rooms before patients arrive. Thanks for putting people first!

My grandma lived here and passed away here and it was probably the hardest 3 weeks of our families lives. My grandma has over 30 grandkids and empress Hillsboro welcomed all of us and treated not only us but my grandma with nothing but the best care possible.. if we had a concern an issue regarding her care; her meds the Administrator and director of nursing took care of it immediately! I highly recommend this facility! The staff and administration is beyond amazing!!

When I was in the hospital and they told me they were releasing me to a skilled nursing facility, I started doing some research. My case worker immediately told me not to look at yelp reviews, instead look at their score on the Medicare site. I wish I had not taken her advice. Everyone's always dying there and not because they are old. A great deal of them are on drugs or doesn't speak English. Their food sucks and makes you puke. Some are mean. The ambulance lives there due to suspicious ongoing deaths.

Husband arrived on a Friday.no assessment until Tuesday when he was released. The bed he was assigned had a tv not working so gave him the other bed, in addition there was an electrical outlet with no cover and wires exposed. a few hours later he needed to use the bathroom but couldn't access the toilet since the room appeared to be a storage area. had to call and ask to have stuff removed. had to ask for a towel and wash rag. call alarm stopped working on second day. good thing I noticed it. had to bring own coat hangers. ... read more

There lucky they even get 2 stars. Their building looks like crap, especially the side where it's all torn apart with plywood covering it. But they thing that killed it was their services. My dad was supposed to get his medication at 9 PM and didn't get it till 2 AM then when he called for asst to the restroom no one shows. After an hour of trying to figure out how to get to the bathroom alone (after having surgery) they shows said "oh you okay?" Left and never came back to asst him back to his bed??? Wtf people!!
