Dr. Hobie Summers performed an extremely challenging initial rebuild on my fractured elbow and my excellent pain-free recovery is due to his masterful surgical operation.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Summers. He has such a calm and kind spirit that I was immediately put at ease. His staff is just as professional and caring as he is.
I fractured my talus bone in a bicycle accident and was told by 3 other orthopedics how serious my injury was and that I may possibly walk with pain and/or limp due to reduced range of motion for the rest of my life. I met with Dr. Summers and he not only put me at ease, but I am 10 months post- op and walking fine and feeling great. He is a great doctor ( patient, caring, thorough, knowledgeable) and the most gifted surgeon. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He's the best.

This guy torqued 18 screws into my severely messed up shoulder and shoulder blade. (motorcycle accident) As I was laying on the table waiting for the anesthesia to kick in, I made some small talk with one of his team. "Good Luck" to which I heard "We don't need luck, we have Dr. Summers." Any doubts and anxiety melted away. This man stood over me for 10 hours during first surgery and 5 hours during 2nd. My shoulder function has well exceeded any expectations. Thanks Doc :)
