Michelle is AWESOME!!! I came to Holy Cross nervous for an US Biopsy.. Michelle came to get me from the lobby, very friendly. She brought me to the room, explained the ENTIRE procedure, answered and questions, and made sure I was comfortable before she started. She explained everything she was doing (so knowledgeable) which made me so calm, explained the process again, brought the doctor in and it was honestly EXACTLY how she described it. New MRI machine was so impressive! First time experience with a visor and headset that projected a video of a relaxing day of boating for me to watch, which basically makes the ceiling of the machine 'go away'. I've had plenty of MRI's, and this time it was such a pleasant surprise. The team that assisted me was excellent. Tamara A. checked me in, Gina S was the RN in the MRI department and Stephen proceeded with the MRI setup and completion with the actual MRI. I use this facility to get labs done because they’re so quick, efficient, clean, and nice. Alisha M. at the lab check in area should give seminars on customer service and just being a good person in general in today’s world. I showed up at 2:05 forgetting the lab closed at 2:30 on Friday. She had to transcribe my handwritten lab prescription from my Dr. to their codes. She was typing away, smiling the entire time, and kept saying, “I’ll get you in by 2:30, you’ve got time”… kudos to her, and I hope her manager reads this, as... read more
I will say as far as the staff goes from check-in to check out , they could not have been better. I had a bilateral breast MRI and I must say it was the most uncomfortable procedure due to the metal bar that you have to rest yourself on while laying face down obviously. Very painful and left deep indentation on both rib cage and sternum. It was difficult breathing due to the pain every time I inhaled. Shout out to Judith who scheduled me for to see a doctor. She patiently (no pun intended) went through the list of doctors to see who was appropriate for my needs. When I expressed disappointment that the first appointment was too long a wait she went manually through the schedule day by day and got me an opening for the very next day. She is very professional but she has a great sense of humor.
