As a new mom, I was so thankful to find community, support and knowledge within a newborn group at Honey. I looked forward to attending every week with my daughter and found so much comfort in connecting with others who were in the same season as me. I cannot recommend their newborn groups to moms in the Metro Detroit area enough.
This is my first google review ever, which I think says a lot. I wanted so badly not to review Honey poorly. The idea of honey is fantastic, who wouldn't love support for moms? Unfortunately, my experience has not been positive. The people I have spoken to have all been nice and kind, but the service overall has been lacking. My pregnancy and postpartum experience would have been a dark and lonely experience without honey. I did the pregnancy group and breastfeeding class, and then did two newborn groups after my daughter was born. Not only did the newborn group help my postpartum mental health immensely, it connected me with a community of local new friends going through new motherhood at the same time that have been so invaluable. I attended the "Care Necessities- Infant CPR/First-Adi/AED Class" taught by Kylie in February 2025. The class was fantastic! Kylie had a very thorough presentation and the class allowed for hands on practice as well. While I hope I never have to use the skills Kylie taught us, I feel way more confident and prepared if I ever need to. I would highly recommend taking this class if you have own little one or are a caregiver.
I've been in therapy at Honey since May/June after having our 4th and sadly, last living baby. I quickly realized I was not okay and needed help or I don't know how much longer I would be around. That's where Honey saved my life. My therapist, Autumn is a true gem of a human and I look forward to our appointments every Monday.
