Why can’t everything I want for my remodel be as perfect as Hoodsly? Absolutely everything has gone stellar with Hoodsly. I called customer service because I wanted to be sure I was understanding the measurements-Genesis was fantastic. I ordered my custom hood and chose to get the fan from them. I accidentally ordered two fans. They emailed me the next to verify that I wanted two fans-I did not. They immediately credited me for one of the fans. Their communication was phenomenal. I had Hoodsly build me a semi-custom wood hood for my kitchen (the custom part was the color of the stain). About everything wrong that could go wrong with an order happened here. I was one step away from having this become one of the worst experiences a consumer could have. So, why am I giving this company a four-star rating? Simple: They acknowledged the problems, accepted responsibility, fixed everything, gave me a completed, perfect hood and refunded my full purchase price for the delay and my trouble. I recently purchased a hood from Hoodsly and I am ecstatic over the product. Firstly they rushed the order for me and in this day and time of nothing being delivered and everything on back order I was amazed. The customizing capabilities made it possible for me to design a hood style that fit in seamlessly with the kitchen cabinetry.. After it was installed, I was ecstatic. It looks gorgeous with our design. The exhaust fan is very powerful and I really couldn’t ask for me! They delivered!! Bravo!!!

Really bad design. I ordered the 48" wide hood and it doesn't go all the way to the ceiling based on their sub-par design. There is a way to make it work but they didn't figure it out. I also ordered the Zline hood insert from them and it didn't include the added pieces they said it would include. Again, another design flaw that you need some additional kit to make a standard hood insert fit. After all the work, it looks bad. Would not recommend.
I normally don’t leave poor reviews of any businesses but my experience with this company has been horrific from beginning to end and I am hoping to save someone else from a bad experience. This company hasn’t figured out how to consistency deliver the right hood to the right customer seamlessly and undamaged (really dig into the reviews - they’ve had a number of problems.) One or even two errors in the process and I would have understood - every company’s struggled during the pandemic especially in home services. But the... read more
