During the battery replacement, the person who had difficulty opening my watch case used a penknife, which slipped inside the mechanism. Following this, my watch wouldn't restart, so I took it to a jeweler who found that the coil was scratched and the mechanism damaged. I strongly advise against using this service provider.

I had just received a quote from the store where I bought it, which was asking for a large sum and a two-month wait. The price for a battery replacement on my watch was outrageously high, almost 20 euros! The usual response I see here, "2-year guarantee," makes me chuckle... Thank goodness! At that price, it's the least they could do. To top it off, I usually pay between 8 and 10 euros elsewhere and, surprise surprise, I only need to change the battery about every two years.
