My daughter called at midnight the 4th of July worried about her 8 week old doxie who had been throwing up. The girl person on the phone told my daughter she could not bring him in because it sounded to her like the puppy had PARVO!!!!!wth and that they don’t allow parvo in there building!!!! Long story short the puppy is fine (no parvo)but got no help from the emergency vet!!! probably a great 24hr place but u never know how long to wait with it being a 24hr facility, so we waited 1.5hrs for ear checks then $250 2 hrs later. nice staff
I have been there a few times with great experience but this time not so much. My dog was suffering from bloat which is a medical emergency and only one vet and 2 techs. Was told her stomach was in fact flipped and they wouldn’t do her emergency surgery and that euthanasia was a reasonable option. Time is life. They put in IV, gave pain meds, fluids, x-rays and sent us on our way. My reg vet came in to her clinic after hours and did her lifesaving surgery. She wasn’t flipped and had sx and is recovering. I brought my dog in on an emergency basis. Waited two and a half hours and still didn’t see the vet. When I told the front desk staff I was leaving to go somewhere else, they said ok. No apologies, explanations offered. Apparently they see all appointments before emergencies, even though I was told I didn’t need an appointment when I called. Why even say you do emergency care? Horrible service. I would never recommend this place.
