I do not recommend iCode based on my experience this past year of enrolling my boys. Previously they did summer camps and they seemed well run so we enrolled in the White Belt program during the school academic year. The program was run by high school students. There is poor leadership due to high turnover of the Director. We went through 3 Directors. Without proper direction, the high school students are not as effective as they could be. Our kids had a fantastic experience with iCode’s STEM program, especially with the focus on computers. It’s unfortunate that this company is patronizing to community members as shown in other reviews by parents, and doubling down by not handling honest feedback with grace as they were in the wrong in regards to the manager, Erin. I went to iCode’s discovery day to learn more about the company and see if it was a good fit for our community in houston tx. It started off strong with great details into the curriculum and how the program builds on a child’s experience year after year. Where it all took a nosedive was during construction, that’s where we got a lot of inflated prices and a bunch of old salesmen’s intimidating tactics. I registered an app making camp here for my daughter. The instructor Shawn was really great. My kid told me that he was very interesting, gentle and smart teacher. She learned a lot from him. This camp program gave my daughter an interest to computer science. I am very satisfied with the program here.
