I'm a little late posting this review; I stayed at ICONA in Cape May in November, 2025 and had such an amazing experience. Gorgeous stay. The hotel and rooms are exquisite, and beach is within view! I did not want to leave. The staff was also super accommodating; I had to take a test online, and they made special accommodations so I could take my test with complete privacy. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend staying at ICONA Cape May.
My family and I stayed here last summer. Mixed feelings about the overall experience, but I'm turning a 4.5 into a 5 star rating because if you do your research you will eliminate our only concerns. Lets get that out of the way....location. No restaurant within the hotel. I wish it was in closer walking distance to more amenities. It was hot and walking was difficult. The location and amenities make the stay so much more convenient. It’s ocean front with beach tags, chairs, and towels included in the stay. The shuttle service makes getting around Cape May so convenient. The staff is really nice and helpful too. I was a little surprised by the size of the room and the pool, I think on social media it looked bigger to me. But access to the pool is nice when you need a break from the sand or just wanna cool off quick. The balconies for every room was nice. Would be a little nicer if it faced... read more
It's a charming hotel with views of the beach. The rooms were clean. Hotel parking is available in limited supply. Street parking is available too and may cost money at the meter, depending on the parking spot. Only thing is some staff had very flat affect and lacked hospitality warmth. Most staff were very kind and professional.
I had a chic weekend and from the moment we arrived this past Friday until we left Sunday, every staff member we met could not have been nicer. Checking in was a breeze with staff who were funny and accommodating. Going to the beach - staff helped us with chairs and an umbrella was the nicest and easy go person.
