Good analysis by Dr. Chadi Yaacoub, but office staff has not been responsive to phone calls for information and updates on my procedure's approval. Since the primary person has been on vacation and taking personal days a lot, not much has been done, and virtually nothing communicated. After pressing for a manager to converse with, she promised to look into it and get back to me. Finally I was told that Medicare has denied me as this procedure is too experimental, even though it has been FDA approved for many years and has lo... read more
I had a back procedure done and was told it could take up to 4 weeks to work. I was also told I would receive a refill on the pain meds Ive been on for a few years. 3 days later and I have not received any prescription or even a phone call call from Illinois Pain. What kind of doctor leaves you hanging for 3 days without even a call back from their office even though I was told I would have someone call me back every day. Once they do a procedure, they forget about you! Find another pain management. Fast!!
My son has been going to this doctor office since April. Dr. Prunskis saw him charged $50 copay. Did nothing, then sent him to Dr Durant. Again another $50 copay. Dr Durant would see him, do nothing, then send him back to Dr Prunskis, and charged again $50. Again did nothing, sent him back to Dr Durant, did nothing charged him $50. This circle kept on going until September. The last time we were at Dr Prunskis, he sat there and said they don’t know why he is in pain! Isn’t that what a pain clinic is for? To help with pain wh... read more
I would give no stars if possible. The only pain management offered here is surgical. Dr. Motel does not believe in medications, did not know about non-opioid medication, and said he did not want to. Stated that medication was not something they believed in. Even if they don’t do medicine management, they should not market themselves as a “pain management” practice. They only do surgical procedures, which I would never have done there. The doctor did not even bother to review my records before seeing me as a new patient. Ver... read more
If you’ve got pain that you CANT find the cause for, go somewhere else because this pain clinic won’t know what to do either. I’ve had arm pain for 6 years and my MRI, EMG and CT scans all showed up fine so now Prunskis doesn’t know what to do. He sits down on the bed next to me and says “the imaging doesn’t show any reason for the pain. We’re stumped.” They cost $50 a session and not get anything done. They also have me going to a second location that has NOTHING to do with the pain and they also cost $50. They will keep ta... read more
