New patient here and let me say the first visit went well enough. I had no issues with them until needing to get a prescription refilled. I have been trying to get this filled for a week. Was rejected by the pharmacy erroneously and has been a nightmare. Even just the initial request took days as they did not respond till the pharmacy requested it twice and I called. Doctor Margarita Shanks is an Amazing Dr. I have never met a doctor. That is very caring. Listen to your problems and recognize your symptoms. Also very caring and compassionate. About her patients. She is the best doctor I have ever gone to. I would give her over 100 stars. I feel extremely comfortable being around her. I absolutely trust her treatment and recommendation.
Extremely frustrated after having my virtual appointment that I scheduled weeks ago canceled ONLY HOURS before it’s supposed to begin and with minimal effort to reach out to me notifying me of this. I understand their reasoning is that they would like to see new patients in person for their first visit. However, if that is the case the many options of “NEW PATIENT VIDEO VISITS” needs to be taken off their portal. I took my mom here for a walk-in appointment after she called me feeling ill. We figured it was an infection from a cat scratch she received from a stray that she feeds. The majority of the staff were very professional. They seemed concerned and willing to help. I’ve been with them for over 4-5yrs now and I love them 😍 the staff is awesome 👏🏽 and my Dr Smith is amazing and incredible 🤩..!!! They are fabulous and have taken very good care of me and helped me adjust to my chronic health conditions and very supportive and understanding and I appreciate this greatly!!
