I had a cast and an OT put me in the shower without tightening the plastic wrap around it , resulting in the cast getting wet. They left water in the cast overnight resulting in an infection of the amputated limb. An untrained male nurse jabbed a needle in my abdomen resulting in an abdominal bleed which went undetected by the Doctors until I insisted that I be taken to the emergency room where I underwent surgery to repair the damaged artery and remained in the hospital in severe pain for another week.
