With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My BF and I were in the neighborhood and googled food near us. We chose Dave’s bc of the good ratings/photos. I was so floored by how good this was that I felt compelled to add my own review. The chicken is crispy, JUICY, and packed with flavor. We both chose the hot flavor and found it 10/10. Oh and the fries!! Perfectly crispy and full of flavor. You get a good amount of food for the $. The vibe is chill, and the crew is friendly. Definitely a spot to try!
First time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken. My daughter saw it on TikTok and has been wanting to try it. Unfortunately, there’s not one by where we live. Today is a good day and we found this location on the way back from appointment. As soon as we walked in, Manager Verleshia greeted us excitedly and complimented us with a big smile. Rodney did a good job and his hospitality and energy was amazing. The food here was great and the mild and medium heat strips were DELICIOUS!! I’ll definitely be back to this location!!
