I arrived early and asked about checking in around noon. I was told in a very unpleasant voice that it would be an extra $25 for early check-in and an extra $10 if I wanted to check in before 3:00 but after 1:00. The desk clerk was not very pleasant. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but when I checked out, she was just as abrupt and unprofessional. Just had the worst experience there the last few days. First room south tower was full of dust and cobwebs on walls and curtains. I was fine before I was in that room. Sneezing like crazy from the dust. I went to the front desk they gave me key to another room. That room was the same dirty. Back to front desk where the lady was rude. Saying it's a smoking room that happens. I was moved to the north tower. I walked in the room heat was on full blast almost 90 degrees in there. I shut it off for the night. First of all , we were in a block of rooms for a wedding, but were told it would be $25.00 to check in early. What a joke !! When it came time to check in, surprise we had to wait and wait and wait. Wow, maybe they should let me check in to the high dollar hotel NOT RESORT early , free. The resort joke was my Credit card surprise . They charge a resort fee after you check out, but don’t mention it to you. You find that out later on your credit card bill. This is no resort just a Midwest joke. Never again !!!!!!!!!!

Check in lacked “friendly “ service. Instead she talked very fast and offered nothing about hotel. Abruptly said “park in garage and go to tower B… next! “ We found the 500 rooms are in two towers with a parking garage. No signage in parking garage or outside of building to direct you towards your room. No map of property and no staff around. With some luck we found the correct tower on the other side of drive. At check in the 2 ladies were very friendly and informed me I had a room comp. They told me I could upgrade to a suite for 43 dollars which I could use my points to pay for at checkout and if I chose to do that I would receive my deposit back in full. When I checked out in the morning I was charged 100 dollars and told i couldn't even use my points. The lady working (I believe her name was Melissa) was rude and of no help.
