Unsafe. Unit broken into. Management neglected to tell me. After notifying management their response was "You got insurance don't you?". Raised the rates four months after moving in.
Management noticed that my lock wasn't locked correctly - proceeded to call and tell me. And then they stole an Xbox and some new running shoes from my unit. They also made sure to never answer my calls or be in the office for communication about this. Would not recommend this storage place - go elsewhere.
Security storage was recently bought out by an out-of-state storage company. Now named istorage, It is a standard drive-through older storage facility. They came through, painted, made some small repairs and raised what were already high rates. You will do well to shop around as they currently offer the highest pricing in Kansas City. This may change once they realize KC won't yield West Coast pricing.
