Not that anyone sits around waiting for opinions on self-storage companies, but iStorage has been by far the worst ever! First, when I arrived at one of their Houston locations to sign up for a storage unit, the site manager asked me to come back later because she was on lunch break. Then, when I came back, the iStorage manager told me their systems were down, so they could only accept cash. Therefore, I had to leave yet again to get $200+ from the ATM. Five months ago, my unit in Cincinnati was burglarized. Four months ago, I received a letter from iStorage insurance provider, promising to mail a check for my claim, in the amount of $1630.00, to cover the loss of my atloen items. Burglary and theft was reported to local police, documented, itemized; where is my check?
