What makes j-prime a step above other quality steak houses are the little things they add in to provide a better experience. Really first rate. Only nit pick — could use more white wines on the list and by the glass.

We are traveling around Texas on our honeymoon and stumbled on J Prime. We are so glad we did. They made the evening extremely special for us, congratulating us on our wedding. The staff, Calvin, Matthew, and Frank were absolutely amazing and so kind. AND THE FOOD?! To die for. We had the wagyu sampler and don't know how to have regular steak again. Plus, fried oreos were a great dessert.
First time to come here. Been to many steak houses here in San Antonio as well as in Vegas. The quality of food here was the best I’ve had in San Antonio. The service was the best as well rivaled only by a select few in Vegas. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! If you have not been here yet you are missing out!

This was our 5th time at this restaurant. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave the staff make you feel special. The food was amazing. We went out on a limb and made our own surf and turf (Hong Kong style Sea Bass and the Austrilian rack of lamb). Both dishes were amazing! I would recommend this business for every special event or celebration.
