One and only issue we had was the main entree. We order the porter house for 2 to be cooked medium rare. The steak was medium to medium well- specifically on the tenderloin side. Plus it looked like it had been cut/carve a little too early and left in the window/pass, leaving the juices to drain early. Timing is key as to order/firing especially when involving 3 or 4 courses. Overall experience was great for a celebration with the service and ambiance, but lacks more detailed attention when it comes to high prices.
First visit. The food was outstanding. My daughter had a steak. I had two bites and is was so good. My husband had lamb chops. Big order. My husband is a very picky eater and a food snob. We went this evening for a “Friendsgiving” celebration expecting just another steakhouse experience. We were SO WRONG! Our experience from parking the car, to getting back in the car for our journey home, was absolutely amazing! The service was phenomenal, the food was TO DIE FOR, and the ambiance in the restaurant was perfection! This is, by far, one of the best steakhouses in San Antonio!
Staff were great as usual, including management we had staff checking in with us all evening. Spacing was ok for tables around us and all staff appeared to be following safety protocols. As usual food and atmosphere were great.
Spectacular white glove service in an upbeat biz casual atmosphere! As we enter, someone opens the door to welcome us. We’re greeted by the hostess and manager, who are attentive as they guide us to an airy open room with just the right amount of space. Although we had a reservation at 9:30 we didn’t get seated until 10:05. I thought that was the whole point of a reservation . But they did sit us at the bar and took our drink order while we waited, so that was appreciated.
