J-Prime one of my favorite restaurants in the San Antoino area. The only thing bad I can about this restaurant is not eating there. Everything on the menu is superb. I like the way they separate the entrée from the sides. The staff is impeccable very timely very courteous and extremely friendly. I highly recommend it for everyone.

I noted a birthday celebration upon submitting the reservation through Open Table, but when we arrived, we were asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were sat at a mediocre table location with a tray full of dirty dishes and discarded food crammed next to our table. 15 min to get our drinks, and another 10 to take our order for our initial appetizers. We enjoyed J. Prime for restaurant week last night. It was our first time , and I have to say the experience was fantastic. We had an early reservation, and enjoyed happy hour cocktails before dinner (happy hour is 4:30 to close on Sunday and Monday) the grapefruit martini was amazing! For openers, I had the wedge salad ( that candied bacon was amazing!) and Mark had the lobster bisque ( it was very good, but we would recommend adding pepper.
