We had guests visiting from Florida, and this meal may have convinced them to uproot to San Antonio. It is my favorite restraint in town.

Top-notch all the way! Been to a few of the steakhouses here in San Antonio and elsewhere and so far J-Prime exceeds all. Service was excellent!!! (Thanks to our server Steven); however, everyone is very attentive. Food is fantastic! Beef Tenderloin was cooked to correct temperature, very tender and juicy. The scallops we perfectly cooked and had a nice golden sear. Key lime pie was delightful! Excellent wine selection and nice ambiance throughout the restaurant.

My wife and I went to J Prime on a recommendation by a friend. Everything about the evening was beyond expectations from the staff to the food. We will definitely be back!
The only issue was that we had reservations for 7:45 and didn’t get seated until 8:45! We checked in at about 7:25 and the hostess said there would be a short wait. Because we were early I didn’t think anything of it. After two rounds of drinks we went up and asked about our table and the hostess said we were next.
