It's happy hour all evening on Sundays at J-Prime, so I had a martini ($8) and fried oysters ($12) at the bar, before moving on to the restaurant for steak. The 14 oz. Prime New York Strip and Au Gratin Potatoes were perfectly prepared and delicious and a Prix Fix deal at $42.95. They went well with a glass of Malbec ($12.50). Great service and great food. Not just a steakhouse...many great seafood options. Definitely our new go to spot for upscale dinner.
Obviously steaks are the thing here, and they are excellent. The bone-in steaks (Ribeye and filet) considerably exceed their regular cousins on this menu. Most steaks are big enough to split, as is about every other thing on the menu. Birthdays and anniversaries get a free dessert--we recommend the chocolate cake!
From beginning to end J. Prime does everyting top notch! The staff is well trained and attentive, yet not intrusive. They pay attention to details, listen well and accomodate very well. The food is excellent, we've eaten here around a half dozen times now and they're consistently great. You will not be disappointed.

Overall Excellent as always! Eric did a great job serving our family. Didn’t like waiting to be seated at 5:30 with a 5:00 reservation but Overall experience was great! Great food and awesome family. Doesn’t get better! Thank you Prime!
