Great ambience. Alex at the bar makes a great cosmos and dry Martin w/stuffed blue cheese olives.. Sea bass was cooked to perfection and the bacon wrapped filet was yummy. From the hotess to wait staff to buss boy and the owner greeting tables and making sure our food was cooked to our liking this is a must eat restaurant for happy hour or if your looking for a great meal with a great restaurant employees...

J Prime experience was superb! Bringing my 3 year old grandson was a bit of a challenge to their service, even with him being well behaved. They accomplished an old world type personal service and accommodated our food allergies seamlessly. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the tuna tower and charcuterie appetizers. We (4 sisters and Mom) had a lovely Mother's day late lunch at J-Prime Steakhouse. Everything was great. We all ordered the Filet Mignon, cooked medium. The meat was amazingly tender and with lots of flavor, however slightly overcooked for our taste. For sides, we had: risotto=amazing, potato au gratin=amazing, carrots w/apricot=ok. For dessert we had apple pie and chocolate mouse= both really good. I do have to say that the service was outstanding!! The best strip steak ever. MARVELOUS service. VERY loud, however. We were 4 at the table, and we had to shout to each other to be heard...and it was a Monday night!!! Pricey. Worth the price. If it's ambiance, though, maybe not.
This place is great. The service was a little off this time but it was very busy. Brunch as always was fantastic

Really impressed with texture and taste of our steak especially since we requested no salt. Grilled asparagus was perfect and the potatoes were delicious. Above average red wine and champagne options by the glass which is refreshing for San Antonio. Jordan, our waitress, was pleasant well informed, allowed us to finish our apps before asking for our main dish always available when needed and never hovered. My husband and I went to J-Prime for a date night and to celebrate my birthday. Everyone there was so attentive and made our dinner special every step of the way. Especially our waiter John Silvestro. He recommended a bottle of red wine for our steak, and it was one of the best reds I’ve ever had. It just kept getting better and better! On the table there was a note that wished me happy birthday and balloons besides my chair. They even sent me a dessert with a sparkler in on it! That was so sweet.
