We sat in the main dining area and it did not have the greatest ambience and was a bit louder for my taste.
Struggled with service brought steaks out twice and seafood tower was out third. Seafood was average at best.

went for restaurant week. Even with adding extra sides,the deal was great for an otherwise expensive restaurant. Definitely worth the splurge.
My husband and I had a mediocre time at J-Prime. We made a reservation weeks in advance for 6:30pm and got there right on the dot. Since they were extra busy, we did not get seated until 7:00pm and were just standing in the small entrance way for 30 minutes. People kept knocking into us and we were never given updates until our name was called to be seated. We even asked for water from the bar and it was never brought to us. Went for Restaurant Week b/c it was a good deal/price fixed. Our bottle of wine (which was one of the least expensive) was more than our food. The food was good, but I personally wouldn't make an effort to go/spend that kind of money if it wasn't for the restaurant week menu.
Excellent steak!!! Excellent service! Just too noisy and music to loud. Hard to have conversations .
