My ABSOLUTE favorite steak house! Incredible taste, cooked just the way I like steak. Apricot carrots are mind-blowingly delicious! Service is impecable! As a pastry chef, I'm not super enthusiastic about the desserts (they are decent, but no where near compare to the meal's quality). But who really needs it when you have such an incredible meal? Our dining experience was a little rough at the beginning. Our reservation was for 8:30pm and we did not get sat until 9:17. The only reason why we got sat was because one of the bar tables was available, so we settled for a bar table since the dining room was full and we were hungry. Our food was great, except for the fact that my steak came out medium well instead of medium rare. Went during Restaurant Week and we were quite pleased. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. All of our food was outstanding, with the service great, as well! Will definitely consider returning to the restaurant!

When I made the reservation, I added that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. When we arrived, the hostess acknowledged her and told her happy birthday. Since it was restaurant week, it was a little busy. The only issue we had was that it took quite a while to get our dessert. The food was great as always..
I went to J Prime for restaurant week on a Sunday evening with several others. We were seated immediately although we arrived a little early. The three course meal is truly a bargain for $35.00. Two ordered the lobster bisque and one a Caesar salad as an appetizer. I thought the bisque very good. We all ordered the fillet mignon and all were cooked perfectly.
