As usual, the service was excellent. On the down side, I let them know this visit was a special occasion, but no one acknowledged it. The food was good, but they change the selections and this time some of our favorites were omitted.
My wife and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary and our experience could not have been better. We were greeted by name and seated at our reservation time. Our steaks (filet and ribeye) were beautifully aged and flavorful, the server and all wait staff were brilliant, the atmosphere was soothing, and the sides were excellent. I particularly liked the steak fries and my husband enjoyed the beet salad. And here's a nice little touch, because details count: JPrime has thoughtfully placed a purse hanger tree next to each table. We go to J Prime frequently and have never been disappointed....until last night. The way they season their steaks keeps us coming back for more every month. However, this time they seasoned them differently!!! There was no usual rosemary flavor and it was replaced with too much crushed pepper. Also, they switched the mashed potatoes to where they now serve them out of an empty baked potato. There were no more than two spoonfuls of potatoes!! Service was spectacular! Around 5 people in total served our every need and anticipated everything. Filet was a lil overcooked and not nearly as flavorful as I expected for the price. Sauteed mushrooms were bland, cheesy spinach was great. Lamb ribs were great. Overall way too expensive dor the quality of the food. Prob wont be back.
Great food and spectacular service. It was a birthday dinner and was a great experience.
Our server, Oscar was fantastic - we really enjoyed him and his ability to help me choose a perfect wine was by far spot on!
