Had a number of things that were not up to expectations. Steak was not how I ordered it and the next one was overdone. Twice baked potato was good and the wine was good. I've been to their happy hour many times so I though I would try dinner for our anniversary. The dinner was expensive for the quality.
J Prime is the perfect place to enjoy upper class dining. The staff as well as the food was 5 star all the way. You will not be disappointed.

The food and service is outstanding, best in San Antonio. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a change of pace from the high priced and overrated high end restaurants available.

I rated J-Prime 5 stars because there's no option for 6! This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Robert the waiter insured that it was all just ...right! The ribeye was done to perfection, and Robert's wine recommendation was the perfect complement. The chocolate caramel tart and port finished an excellent evening's meal. This is the place to go for a special occasion - or just for a really nice dinner.
