Stay away unless you want a really special event that takes you to a service level not seen in COVID days
Noise level everywhere, especially in the bar was nearly intolerable (beyond energetic). Food, eaten by our friends, not us, appears to have been their source of on-the-way-home and day-after intestinal issues! Did not find out until we arrived with our 11 year old daughter that they decided to change the bar seating area to 21+ and refused to seat us in there due to a “fight” the night before. We were upset as we had purposely selected the bar due to the happy hour and appetizer prices. They did finally compromise and let us sit in dining area and get the happy hour pricing. I had reservations for 5 pm. I guess the restaurant was just opening and they were not prepared at all to service their guest. Waited several minutes to order a beverage and I finally moved to the bar to get service. They should be ready to serve the minute the doors open. Too many servers running around unorganized when the doors open.
Our reservation was 9pm and they pass us at 10pm, 1hr in waiting list
JPrime is a highly overrated/overpriced restaurant. I would describe the restaurant as an imitation premium restaurant. Restaurant is overfilled with people and has a cramped feel to it. Reservations was for 8:30pm and was not seated until 8:52pm because of the over abundance of people there. Very poor planning by management and staff. Got seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. And we were only a party of 2. Way overbooked.
This is a generic steak house that wasn’t anything special. Ambiance is lacking. Food was acceptable but not really great for a $200 meal
Horrible service. Excellent food. Service was equivalent to IHOP not usual service from J-Prime.
