This is literally the worst property management company I’ve EVER had to deal with. They don’t respond. I’ve been dealing with water drainage issues in my apartment since I moved in. I live in the top floor of the building with an attached balcony that has severe structural issues. Every time it rains, the water simply collects on my balcony and seeps into the interior floors of my actual apartment. Management is unresponsive and vague. Sherry is absolutely no help—management makes it a point to ghost you. On 12/25/2023, there was a ceiling leak in our bathroom as we were leaving the house, we emailed our landlord about the issue at 8:20 am. They reached back the same day at 12:28 pm asking if the ceiling was still leaking and that they were going to send the building manager and a repair person. This is my second review. All of the reviews about the lack of management responsibility and lack of communication is spot on. We have hold mold growing in our apartment from a leak since October 2023. We have tried for over 6 months to get someone to fix this yet we have had no movement. Beware and stay away from renting from this company. We just signed renewal ONLY because we couldn't find anything else cheaper than the rent hike they gave us and we love the location. I usually don't like posting reviews, but I had an interaction with Sherry and Izzy from Jwasser that I felt was important to share. My building was recently sold and the new owner hired Jwasser to manage the building, I had many issues in my apartment that the previous management chose to ignore, but as soon as jwasser took over, Izzy came to my apartment, made a list of things that needed to be fixed, and almost immediately I got a call from Sherry checking on my schedule so the repairs could be made. Cannot emphasize enough how awful this company is. Alex is particularly incompetent (yet snarky?) but Mordy straight up threatened me. I experienced leaks, mold, ceiling damage, roach issues and more, and since they refused to actually manage the building, I left. They lost a clean, quiet tenant who always paid on time. And they rushed me out without fixing a single thing for the next tenants while hiking the rent WAY up from what I was paying 🤣 How embarrassing for the Wasser name
