Dr. Chen is very personable. He genuinely wants you to feel better & listens and restates what he's heard from you to be clear on what you meant. After a year of seeing various doctors offering little relief, he suggested new ways to help which we are eager to try. I recommend Dr. Chen highly as your primary care doctor.
Appointment with Dr Chen did not go so well. He had me take the cognitive test. Because I was nervous as I am with most doctor visits, I did not score well on the test. I replied, "I replied I must be stupid". He looked at me and replied "yea". No smile or response indicating he was joking. He has no sense of humor or compassion. I used to dread going to the doctor. But this guy is a really nice guy! My blood pressure goes up as soon as I open the door. However, he has such a calming demeanor that I don’t start off with that nervous feeling. It helps that he knows his stuff and he has great patience in answering my less than intelligent questions. I didn’t think I would find another Dr. Cagna, but it looks like I hit another home run !
Was greeted with a smile upon arrival. Everyone was very friendly. My appointment was 9:30am and I was done by 9:50 am! No wait time! Dr Chen took his time with me. (Often I have found some doctors are kind of rushed.) He was ready to answer any questions or concerns that I may have. I highly recommend this practice!
Dr. Chen is a physician who listens and looks at you when you speak with him. He is compassionate with your concerns and offers different treatment options that can help. He is a smart physician.
